LAKE RULES

We kindly ask all guests to read and respect the following rules to ensure the safety, enjoyment, and well-being of everyone on site. Failure to follow these rules may result in removal from the site without refund. All rules are in place to protect the health of our fish and ensure a safe, respectful environment for all guests.

General Rules

  • Shouting, loud behaviour, or disruptive conduct is not tolerated. One warning will be issued; further breaches will result in removal from the site.

  • Illegal drugs and substances are strictly prohibited.

  • No pets are allowed on site.

  • Visitors or family members are not permitted unless pre-authorised by management.

  • Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside your pod.

  • Do not leave rubbish or cigarette ends around your pod. Use the bins provided. If full, please use our WhatsApp service to request clearance.

  • No takeaways or outside food deliveries are permitted.

  • Guests must not bring their own food or drink, including snacks, on site. A £25 charge per day will be applied if this rule is breached. Paying the charge does not allow you to consume any food or drink brought on site. Food and drinks are available to purchase on site.

  • Fires are only allowed in the designated fire pits provided. Fire packs are available for purchase. Guests are responsible for fully extinguishing fires before leaving them unattended at night.

  • In the event of a fire, vacate your pod immediately, leaving belongings behind, and go to the assembly point in the car park.

  • Swimming, paddling, or entering the fishing lake is strictly prohibited. Guests found in the water will be asked to leave immediately without refund due to serious health and safety risks.

  • Guests are liable for any damage caused to pods, equipment, or facilities. Deductions may be made from the security deposit.

  • Noise must be kept to a minimum after 10:00 PM.

  • Children must be supervised at all times.

Fishing Rules

  • All carp fishing guests must use bite alarms with a receiver at all times.

  • No fixed-lead rigs may be used.

  • Minimum 15lb line for carp angling. No braided main line.

  • Barbed/Micro barbed hooks ONLY; minimum hook size 8.

  • No leaders allowed (including leadcore or leadcore alternatives). You are permitted to use rig tubing ONLY.

  • You must NOT bring your own landing net, weigh sling, or cradle on site. We provide this equipment for you, and it must be used. These items are checked daily, and any damages will be charged to your security deposit.

  • Bait boats are permitted but must be used responsibly. Do not interfere with other anglers’ swims.

  • No nuts allowed (nut-derived boilies/flavourings are acceptable).

  • No particle may be used unless purchased on site.

  • Only high-quality pellets are permitted. Pellets must be of a reputable brand specifically formulated for carp fishing, with high nutritional value and minimal dust content. Low-grade, animal feed, or bulk agricultural pellets are strictly prohibited.

  • All bait may be subject to inspection by staff.

  • No unattended rods. If you need to leave your rods, they must be reeled in and recast upon your return.

  • All fish caught must be treated with a Carp Care Kit. All anglers must have a Carp Care Kit in their possession.

  • Fish should not be retained and should be returned to the lake as soon as possible.

  • Unhooking mats must be used for every fish. Always release fish back into the water in a retainer.

  • Do not carry fish over the decking in your hands or landing net. If you drop or damage a fish, you will be charged accordingly.

  • All anglers must be in possession of a valid EA Rod licence.
